Trouble on the sets of 'Gramophone'

Dileep has left for a European tour. Shooting of the film 'Gramophone' is almost over too. But, a tiny incident happened while the shooting was on. Someone decided to play a prank on the two heroines of the film Navya and Meera Jasmine. So, one heroine was set against the other and soon, they were ready to tear each other's hair. Director Kamal had to indulge in some high volume shouting at both the heroines before peace could be restores on the sets. They were also trying to find the person behind this prank. Shooting happens amidst thousands of problems. Another one on the sets between co-stars?

Dileep-Meera Jasmin starrer Gramaphone to release for Onam. the film also starring Navya Nair is directed by Kamal.The film , produced by Sargam Kabeer under the banner of Sargam Speed Productions, will be shot in Fort Kochi and Mattancherry, where Jewish population reside. The number of Jews in this area has dwindled very much over the years. In this film, Id have this Jewish community as part of the backdrop. One of the main female characters would be a Jew. This would, perhaps, be the first time in Malayalam cinema that the Jewish community would be brought to light.


Prithriraj-Meera Jasmine in Sunderdas' film: Prithviraj, who made his debut in the yet-to-be-released Nandanam, is getting many offers. The saddest part is that not even one of his films have been released. But offers keep flowing. The new film of Sunderdas will have Prithviraj and Meera Jasmine playing the key roles. Jagathy, Oduvil Unnikrishnan, Janardhanan, Ambika also casts in the film. The five songs of Girish Puthencherry have been recorded and Ouseppachan composed the music. Yesudas, Vidhu Prathap, Santhosh Kesav and Asha Menon are the playback singers. The film is a love story based on Christian community.

Shaam and Meera in "Bala"

 
Meera Jasmine of Madhavan's 'Run' fame is now starring also opposite Shaam in the movie "Bala". While Shaam is caught in the middle of controversies and accusations with Sneha in YNRAI (Yei Nee Rombo Azhaga Irukey) the tagline of this movie "Bala" is 'Love can even create and destroy violence.' Let's hope "Bala" creates what "YNRAI" has destroyed for Shaam. Deepak who has worked as an assistant to V.T.Vijayan and A.R.Gandhikrishna directs the movie. He has also penned the story and dialogues for the movie. The young music director, Yuvan Shankar Raja, is scoring the music for the film. The song scenes for the film are scheduled to be shot in Russia.

After hits like 'Kushi' and ' Indian', AM Rathnam, the producer is coming up with this one. Songs have been shot abroad in countries like Switzerland, Denmark and France for this big budget film. The film is also being shot at locations like Chennai, Sriangam and Kaaraikudi. Madhavan plays a hot blooded hero while Meera plays the role of a girl who had been brought up abroad under the strict supervision of her elder brother. Other stars of the film include Raghuvaran, Anuhasan, Atul Kulkarni, Vivek, Ravi Prakash and more. Vidyasagar has scored the music for this film.
Tamin Release brings the film to Kerala.
